Pole Bean Romano - 1 Pkt. (2 oz)

"Pole beans yield much longer than bush beans, right up to frost. Plant 4-6"" apart at the base of poles, trellis, a fence or our Bean Tower. 2 oz. of seed per pack, enough for 20' of row or 10-16 poles, 1 lb. (16 oz.) for 80-128 poles or 160'.

Romano, Italian Pole.ß60 days. Distinctive, full flavor and very heavy yields. Vines are loaded with long, stringless, flat-podded green beans. Delicious fresh and terrific for freezing. Sun."

Disappointed in results, May 17, 2008

"Planted these beans same time as Fortex but when I went to pick them they were 3-4 inches long and swelled with beans. Looking over the vines could find but a few that were longer and flat. Don't know if it was the seeds or the garden soil but I don't think I will purchase these again."

Still good after all these years, September 3, 2007

"I found some of these seeds that I bought 2-3 years ago. I gave them the wet paper towel test and I was amazed that all of the seeds sprouted. So I planted them and lo and behold--these beans are just as prolofic and good tasting as they were a few years ago. Fabulous yields and great flavor--even from old seed :) My garden will never be without them."
