"This
is a really nice plant and looks especially nice planted with a pink or
white phlox. However, they are fussy about drainage and moisture. They
need lots of water in the Summer (this is not a Texas Sage!!) and good
drainage. Mine were short-lived (only 3 years) and struggled in our hot
dry summers. When cut back after the first Spring flush of bloom, they
will re-bloom, but not as well as the first flush. The bees and
butterflies like this one."
