"Beautiful plants and zukes. The variegated leaves and fruits are striking in the garden. I have been growing this varienty for 2 years. 4 of 5 seeds germinate for me on average. Fast grower, good producer, but as the description says, pick sooner than later for better and tendor flavor. Will get large if you let it go, but often gets woody/seedy.

I've also had problems with powerdery mildew mid-season, and really hurts productivity on this plant if not treated. (and the organic treatments don't work as well to begin with in my case)

I would definitely recommend it, but I am trying the sweet gormet variety this season, which reviewers have said is more resistent."

"I bought this zucchini a couple of years ago because I was attracted to its color, and never went back to the others. It produces armloads; and my zucchini bread is now legend among family and friends. One fruit makes four large loaves. It's fantastic lightly steamed or raw with fresh herb dip, and makes a great primavera. And SO pretty!"
