"Here's a little something to add a tropical flare to the garden. Steeped in romance.Passion Flower is mildly scented and blooms from late summer through fall. The 2"" orange fruits are ornamental. An excellent greenhouse plant."

Waste of time, effort and money,
April 13, 2008 Submitted byDanielBDemented
"I tried growing these for three straight years, with three different packets of seed, and all three efforts ended with failure. I did research online, recording the optimal environment for this flower to prosper in; and with each failure I changed the environment to better suit this plant's needs. However, none of it mattered, as I couldn't even get any of the seeds to germinate. With as much effort and the sheer amount of trying I invested in this plant, I can only believe there may be an issue with the supplier with which the seeds originate from. It's a real shame too, as it's such an intriguing flower, but it's become obvious that it won't grow for me."

Don't waste your time,
March 18, 2008 Submitted byToitle from Prescott, AZ
"Three packets of seeds, three different plantings over two years, four different environments and not a single seed showed even the slightest sign of life. No sprouts at all. Other seeds planted in identical conditions are doing very well so I know the problem is isolated to this plant. Such a pity as I was really looking forward to trying these out as a partial privacy screen on a front porch. What a shame."

"Such a delicate, beautiful, fragrant plant. Put this near a window or door and enjoy the light fragrance it emits....just lovely!!! If you live where it doesn't get too cold, and mulch over it in the fall it WILL come back the following year!!!"
