Disappointed, March 4, 2009

"I planted this carrot two years in a row from seed tape. Both years I had weak germination. The carrots that grew were OK, but nothing special. I'm avoiding seed tape in the future--I'd rather thin them and get a good yield."

"It's a silly thing to say, but this carrot was too carroty for me. I would prefer a sweeter, less woody flavor.

And I was hoping they'd look more stubby like the photo, but this was not the case for me, as they were long and tapered."

"My kids had great fun with this -- the seed tape makes it easy for little hands. Grows great in a deep window box. A simple way to introduce your kids to gardening."
