"We didn't get to eat many of these due to the rabbits getting to them. They few we did get were very good. It was almost like eating pure sugar, no wonder the rabbits went for them."

Very good harvest,

"The kids and I planted 4 rows of these on the mesh trellises. The plants got to be about 3 feet tall and definitely needed the support. They produced 2 bowls per day for about 2 weeks. I had to go pick them every single day. Even though we had a great crop, they never did make it to the dinner plate. Very sweet and juicy! I placed them out on the table and let everyone help them selves throughout the day. We’ll plant some more in fall."

Very Sweet and Well Behaved Pea,

"Like many others, I'm trying to get the kids to eat more vegetables and them having a stake in the garden can make that a lot easier. The delicious memories of eating tiny peas right in the garden made growing peas a no-brainer in this endeavor.
Like all peas, the Early provides a small number of peas per square foot when compared with other plants like a tomato, but this pea gave me far more than I had expected in terms of yield.
Planted very early, they flourished first in my garden despite the cold and wet weather. The vines were sturdy and well behaved and required only a short stand to twine around and keep off the ground. Production was very high per plant with about 7 peas per pod.
As a bonus, I planted some later in my "extended spring" area of the garden where temps are about 10F cooler and they produced until late June, very late for this area.
We liked these peas small and fresh, right in the garden and they were particularly sweet and firm with a very nice bite. Once the pods had filled out, the peas were quite starchy as expected.
I like these as a flavor point in my garden and will continue to grow them every spring!"
