"I'm new to gardening and have had trouble growing peppers. False Alarm Hybrid changed that. I think every seed germinated! The plants, both on the porch and in the garden, are healthy and producing well. I wish I had this success with everything I tried to grow."

"I have grown the False Alarm Hybrid for several years and it is one of my garden basics. Every year I come up with more uses for them. Peppers are hard to get started in my garden but they thrive once established. This is a very nice healthy plant with a heavy yield of beautiful peppers. Use them to make bacon-wrapped stuffed jalapenos and in your salsa. I dice them up and add them to tuna salad, chicken salad, etc. You can use them in anything you would use a jalapeno OR a bell pepper. They are milder than a traditional jalapeno and zippier than a bell pepper - great pepper!!"

"My husband does not like hot peppers, I love them. With this pepper, we made salsa and Nachos that we could both eat. I can eat them right off the plant, but to feed my husband, I seeded them and just used the meat. We just grew 2 plants this year, will grow more next year. Perfect..."

"Certainly there's no need for a "5-alarm" warning for this excellent-tasting pepper, but, be warned that an occasional pungent surprise might be waiting for you to bite down on. Be careful when inviting small children to "...take a big bit - it's not hot". They might find an eye-watering experience that will ruin your credibility for at least several days (children do get over things like this). It doesn't happen often, but it can happen. For complete assurance that there will be no heat, remove all of the seeds and enjoy the tasty green or red 'wrapper'."
