"I bought a butterfly mix and they had these in the mix. I thought they were weeds at first but when the floweres bloomed they were very radiant. The leaves are fuzzy and weed-like but they are worth the show. Blooms seem to come on one-at-a-time."

"Easy to germinate either in pots or sown directly in to prepared soil. Fast growing, strong well branched stems. Tons of brilliant scarlet-orange blooms that flower from mid summer to frost.

I have had plants that grew to over six feet tall and five feet wide. They drop thousands of seeds that volunteer plants for the next year.

Butterflies, hummingbirds and birds are crazy for the flowers and seeds."
