Poor performance,

"I purchased this Burpee herb garden and planted it in two large pots as directed, since I didn't have one large enough to accommodate all of the seeds. Well, two of the seed packets performed, and I have yet to see anything from the purple ruffles basil, regular sweet basil, nasturtium, chives, or parsley. I planted them well over a month ago, have fertilized two weeks ago, and I'm disappointed."

"The best purchase ever!! I have in the past tried to grow seeds and they would always get "damp off" is my understand. The seeds for the Herb garden have done great and I have gotten lots of sprouts from each package and they are growing stronger every day!! They are a terrific purchase!! I know they will be beautiful when fully matured and I can't wait. I certainly will buy more seed of different kind of plants next year!!"

"HAVING BEEN RECENTLY TRANSPLANTED TO A RURAL PARADISE, I ORDERED MY FIRST-EVER SEEDS. THE SOIL HERE IS RICH & FERTILE. I PLANTED THE DESIGNED HERB GARDEN. HAVING HAD NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE AS "MS. JONNY APPLESEED", I HAD NO CONCEPTION AS TO WHAT THE OUTCOME MIGHT BE. MAGICALLY, WITHIN 4 DAYS, LITTLE SPROUTS EMERGED. THE LAST TIME I HAD FELT THIS SENSE OF WONDER WAS AT THE BIRTH OF MY LOVELY DAUGHTER! I PROMPTLY ACQUIRED AN ARSENAL OF SOILS, PLANT FOOD, SHOVELS & RAKES. WEEDING OUT THE AREA, I ATTEMPTED TO PROVIDE A NURTURING ENVIRONMENT FOR MY NEW "BABIES"! AS LUCK WOULD HAVE IT, MY PLANTS ARE THRIVING."

"It's nice being able to buy a kit with everything you need already in it. It can be such a pain sorting through the racks of seed packets, especially if you aren't sure of what you want in the first place! :D These started sprouting really fast, although next time I'm going to use Burpee's super growing cubes. I had bought a generic seed stating mix and I didn't care for it. I can't rate taste or over all yield because mine didn't make it that far. :( My kids kept dumping over the little greenhouse tray. I was able to save them twice, and even most of the little sprouts were hanging on. But the third time, my daughter didn't just dump it, she played in it. She had a blast but unfortunately, the plants didn't. I'll definitely buy another one of these packs and try again though and I do reccomend it. I liked that it had the markers enclosed, as well as a couple of garden plans if one was planning on moving them outdoors."
