"This Burpee zucchini bears fruit early in cool, cloudy conditions even when there are no bees or male flowers around. Its medium-size fruits are long and very tasty. Strongest flavor, good with other vegetables. 48 days."

Great Zuke,

"As an experiment this year I planted some zuke's already started that I purchased from a national home supply store and also these plants (as seeds straight in the garden). "Sure Thing" is exactly the right name! I definitely got better production from this plant than the store bought peat pot plant, and I feel the plant was stronger than the started plant. I would totally recommend this product to a beginner gardener, as you only need to water and the plant produces wonderful zucchini. Be sure to catch these early, though, as they have a tendency to get big fast."

Very Productive,

"Started seeds in peat pots at the beginning of April and planted in the garden mid-May. Started picking zucchini around of end of June and continued till about the end of August. A very productive plant with a great taste, also had enough to share with several of my co-workers. Planted more seeds the beginning of September, in hopes of having a fall crop. I might get lucky, if we don't have a frost. Next year, will start second planting of seeds in peat pots in mid-August so when to first plants are tired I can replace them with fresh ones. That way I will have a jump start on a fall crop."

"I grew the seeds indoors starting in late April and put the seedlings out around Memorial Day. This is my first garden ever, so imagine my surprise at how successful these plants have been. Even when overgrown, the fruit is sweet and tender. I am just overwhelmed by how much zucchini the plants have rendered and the flowers are delicious too. If a beginner like me can make them work, then they must be a sure thing..."
