Great, Great, great Tomato, July 16, 2009
Submitted by jiraya from Guatemala Central America
"Hello Friends, I live in central america and my brother who lives in California sent me some seeds every year from Burpee, and this year it has touched this tomato, big, beautiful color and great taste, very vigorous plants and good load of tomatoes, some slow to bear fruit, but the wait is worth it."

Low yield, superb taste, November 26, 2007
Submitted by LakeErieGarden from Lorain, OH
"Here is one of the very few yellow tomatoes that are truly worth growing when it comes to flavor. It is outstanding to say the least. These are big, big tomatoes in addition to being so flavorful. I did not get a lot, and they took a little while to mature and ripen but they did produce enough to grow again. Heck, the flavor and size are so good I'd grow again if I only got half the yield. I have grown many different varieties and this is a favorite."

"I had mixed results with this tomato. Two years ago I started from seed and was soooooo pleased with the results. Large, beautiful fruits that have a great flavor. Yield was not huge, I think I got roughly 6 tomatos during the season.

Last year, I got this in plant form with the heirloom collection and the fruits did not ripen before the season ended."

"This is one of those varieties that you can't pass up. I first found this when I was having a BIG TOMATO contest. I wanted something that would give me the largest fruit possible and found a packet of Burpee's Big Rainbow at my local garden center. I decided to give it a try and I have been growing it every year since.

One thing to keep in mind is that you need to get them consistent water and stake them. I will tell you that they don't yield a huge number of fruits but they are so large that it makes up for it."
