Best Sunflower's Ever!!, July 10, 2009

"I wanted to have an unusual garden this year, blue pumpkins, black watermelons, and strawberry blonde sunflowers. These are amazing!
I love the height and the blooms are just amazing. The deep red fades to a light pink and then almost completely to yellow when they're falling off. Each plant has at least 7 or more blooms. I just hope they seed so I can grow many many more next year!"

Small disappointment., September 2, 2008

"Someone should have told me that sunflower seedlings are super tasty to bugs and such. I planted 2 packets of these sunflowers and got ONE mature plant! The one that survived only grew to 3' tall and it's bloom was 3" across. The pink color was only present for a day, after that it turned rather brown and sickly looking. Oh well!"

"These were super easy to grow and they were huge and beautiful. We planted them as a border to our corn. This year I'm going to incorporate them into other areas of my flower beds. If you're not into the traditional yellow sunflower, this is a beauty of a change."
