Supersteak Tomatoes, March 16, 2006
Submitted by Tomato lover from Hawesville, Ky
"In 50 years of gardening, this is our alltime favorite tomato. The texture, flavor and size cannot be equaled. Many tomatoes cause me problems because of excess acidity. Not supersteak, but it has true tomato flavor.I cannot find plants locally but they are worth growing. "

Consider Brandy Boy, September 12, 2009
Submitted by Timothy from Southwest Oklahoma (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)
"Brandy boys outproduced these in number and fruit size. Better boys and early girls outproduced as well.
The lay out of my yard requires me to put my tomatoes in an area that gets some shade. I think this really hampers the production of bigger fruit varieties and may be the reason I didn't get the results that others got. This variety seemed to be really impacted as it was outproduced by everything else I had. My Brandy Boys had superior flavor and superior cracking resistance.
I also have not gotten the end of season burst that I get on the other varieties after the 100+ temps relent.
This plant did have good disease resistance but I think I'll be replacing next year with more Brandy Boys."

Outstanding Tomato!, May 1, 2009
Submitted by plantman1223 from Staten Island, NY (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)
"This plant is an overall winner! The germination rate was great, as 28 of the 30 seeds sprouted. The size was enourmous, my largest tomato in the past year reaching 1.8 lbs. without cracking! Flavorwise, its amazing taste and texture are great on sandwiches and burgers. It's unbeatable!"
