"It has large leaves with a lighter flavor than 'Sweet' basil. I add it to lettuce and mesclun salads; it's not overpowering.
I put it north of bigger plants where it's shaded a little during the hottest part of the day to promote milder taste.
'Green Ruffles' is pretty too, especially juxtaposed with purple basil.
Not as robust a grower as some other basils."
