HUGE flowers, March 2, 2008
Submitted by Tommy from New Jersey
"Last year I thought I was planting regular dahlia bulbs and in a few weeks these hugs stalks were growing and I had no idea what they were, but I stuck with them just to see what would become of them.
2 months after planting they started to bloom and the largest flowers I've ever grown appeared. We would cut them and place in water inside and more and more would bloom.
This isn't just a one flower then die flower. They keep flowering all summer.
I highly recommend them and can't wait until Spring comes so I can plant more!"

"Last summer was the first year I decided to do any flower gardening more serious than simply allowing the occasional wild California poppy to avoid weeding, and these dahlias were one of my first choices. They were very easy to grow and bloomed very heavily for a very long time. I was continually amazed at the size and quantity of blooms I had."
