Not so little momma, September 11, 2009
Submitted by mommavet from Union Grove, WI (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)
"I grew these from seed, good germination, got a little leggy in the aerogarden seed starter. Despite having a leggy little seedling I just stuck in the corner of the raised bed because I didn't know where else to put it, I had tons of 4" long, perfectly smooth tomatoes. Nice texture for sauces and salsa, great flavor. Slow to ripen, but we had a cool summer. I had to put up a second cage next to the original one to support it, I think I will prune back a bit next year instead of letting it go wild. Also put one in a topsy tree, that did well too, just not quite as robust as the raised bed, still a great yield."

Great for canning, January 22, 2009

"Very prolific plants that need a lot of support. My plants grew over their cages and fell over . . . I'm going to try the cage extenders this year. The best canning tomato EVER! Meaty, low seed count, and the taste . . . outstanding!"

Little Mama Tomatoes, December 19, 2008

"These tomatoes keep for a long time, travel well, and they make EXCELLENT dehydrated tomato chips when sliced about 1/4 inch piece and dehydrated on a food dehydrator. They also skin easily with a short plung into hot water, and are good for sauce or whatever you want to make."
