Hosta Garden - (5 plants total)

"The spreading plants of handsome hosta foliage form the backbone of many shady gardens.
The exceptional cultivars included in this assortment are of varying leaf color, height and spread. Summer flowers rise above plants in pink, lavender or white.
Hostas are easy to grow and long lived, thriving in moisture-retentive, humusy soil in dappled shade.
Blooms June-August. Height: 18-36"". Hardy in zones 3-9.

Sorry, state laws prohibit shipping plants to AK or HI.
Plants ship in spring at proper planting time.

"We've had our Burpee hostas for 3 years now. They are the most beautiful and prolific of all my friends. We've separated them 3 times already and are getting ready for another split. We love all the different varities in one garden, they bloom at different times and always keep it interesting."

"These plants arrive as roots. Boy did they grow fast and a great deal even over the dry summer months! Excellent in my shady part of my back yard. Definitely recommend purchasing!"

Hosta vs snail and slug, September 15, 2006

"Each year when I visit my sister in the pacific northwest I fall in love all over again with the Hosta. I come home to sunny southern California, buy and replant the beloved Hosta, have them polk their beautiful foilage out of the ground only to find there leaves full of holes or worse eaten to the ground in a day or two. I've used snail and slug bait with only minor help. Must I give up of these beautiful shade lovers?"
