"Enormous Orange flowers up to 6"" across on tall 3-foot plants. A new favorite for the back of the perennial border and beautiful in fresh arrangements. An exceptionally hardy perennial that is heat and drought tolerant. Grow in full sun to light shade in average, well-drained soil. Flowers are in full color from July-Sept and attract butterflies. Hardy in zones 3-10.
Sorry, state laws prohibit shipping plants to AK or HI. Plants ship in spring at proper planting time. ( click here for shipping schedule )"

Will have to see how these plants do ...,

"I ordered this plant and the Sunrise Echinacea. They came shipped to my house in great condition and after planting them they died off. Since they are shipped in a semi dormant stage be prepared for this. It's been about 2 1/2 months and still no sign of the plants. Pretty disappointing, will be interesting to see if they come back next season..."

New growth,

"I love the Orange on these cone flowers, however, this year when I got blooms from last years seed, they are the traditional purple. You have to let the volunteers grow to bloom and then weed out the purple. I will not transplant any of these."

Best Coneflower,
June 28, 2007 Submitted byScruffysmama
"Echinacea Sundown is one of the most beautiful coneflowers I've ever planted. It blooms prolifically and the color is gorgeous. Easy to grow, I've planted it amoung Echinacea Magnus and find the colors complement each other and make a lovely backdop in my flowerbed. I can hardly wait to see how it looks next year."
