Incredible flavor,

"This is the tastiest corn I've ever had in my life, and we're talking 51 years of eating corn fresh out of the garden! The only suggestion I have is that soaking it overnight seemed to improve germination, as I had about 60% germinate dry, and 85% after soaking.
I ate a tiny ear raw, and it was incredible. I didn't plant a lot of this variety, but look out 2009, I'll have a bigger corn patch and most of it will be Maple Sugar!"

"This is simply the BEST corn I have ever grown period. I like to experiment with a new variety each season, but I'm definitely growing this one next year and planting a whole lot more!! Gorgeous jewel green plants yielding two ears a piece that were absolutely packed from end to end with the most mouth watering kernels I've ever tasted! I never know what to expect with my corn because I garden in 4'x8' raised boxes, but the results this year were phenomenal! Thank you Burpee!!"

"Being a new gardener, this year was "experimental" with not knowing which varities to try, but I was very shocked how good sweet corn can actually be!!! It was so good and very sweet! A must for anyone looking for a new variety of sweet corn!"

The best sweet corn I've grown!,
January 20, 2008

"This corn is absolutely delicious. We had about 8 5ft rows and unfortunately the bunnies got about a 1/3 of them, but what we harvested was amazing. We grilled them on a gas grill (when having hamburgers topped with the "sweet tangerine tomatoes" - also excellent) and they were perfect. Nice sized ears with kernels all they way to the end. We'll double the corn space in the garden in 2008 and fence it well so the bunnies don't get any sweet corn!!"
