This is a great pepper!, July 27, 2009
Submitted by raisedbedsnc from Raleigh NC
"I tried this because I wanted a good red pepper for freezing. I started them from seed under lights in the spring, almost every plant came up and every transplant survived. This is a tough plant and produces well under extreme heat. The peppers turn a beautiful red and are one of the best tasting I have ever grown. Exellent!"

Pick A Peck Of Prolific Peppers!!, May 18, 2009
Submitted by OrganicMan from Charlotte, NC
"This is my second time around with these peppers.
I always buy the plants instead of the seeds and they take off immediately in well cultivated soil! Within a few months, you'll have more of these delicious, flavorful, slightly sweet peppers which even come more alive when sliced in half, seeded, drizzled with a little extra virgin olive oil, dusted with sea salt, black pepper and a touch of garlic powder and slow roasted at 250 degrees. The fantastic aroma will light your house up! Also great raw in dips, salads, etc. Well worth growing!"

Best experiment ever, April 10, 2009
Submitted by 7im8 from Fountain Hills
"Never tried these Marconi type sweets before last year, but they were the best producing pepper I've ever had (which makes up for the smaller tapered shape as compared to Bells). Lower branches broke under the weight, but didn't mind a bit! Sweet and tasty, refreshingly different from Bells, yet great raw, dipped, on salads, and any other way we could think up. A bit mild to stuff like a Bell, but did that many times also. ;)

Germinated much better than the Golden Giant Bells, but I strongly recommend starter mix, and a bit shallow in depth for better results. Even in typical potting soil, you won't be disappointed."

Submitted by stamper from Butler, PA
"This is my second year for growing Costa Rican Sweet peppers. I have so many peppers, that I have canned, frozen, grilled, roasted and still gave loads away. If you want alot of tasty, large peppers this is the one to plant"
