Disappointed!,

"We planted over 100 Fireball Marigolds and are disappointed in the results. The plants are of average vigor, with blooms no larger than your average French marigold, and most disappointing, they are solid yellow-gold (no orange-red contrast at all). The location is in full sun where we routinely experience outstanding results with blooming annuals."

Beautiful marigolds!,

"I have to admit up front that, so far, the blooms do not look like they do in the photograph (they're not quite bi-colored -- although it still is early in the season), but, they get a 5 Leaves rating anyway because the plants are performing so outstandingly. I ordered the 12-plant package (vs. seeds), and one or two did arrive DOA, but, the survivors are doing spectacularly, and I wish I had ordered more. The plants are bushier than I'm used to seeing with marigolds, loaded with frilly blooms, and look fantastic interplanted among my tomatoes. I'll buy them again next year, if they're available again (heck, I'd buy more *this* year if they were still available...)."
