Great Carrot for Rocky Soil,
June 30, 2008
Submitted by Ernie
from Baltimore, MD
"I have been trying to find a carrot to grow in my rocky, clay soil. All of the carrots that I tried never seemed to grow in my rocky soil. So I did some research on the web and found that Red Cored Chantenay Carrots grow well in rocky and clay soils. So, I ordered some seeds from Burpee figuring it was worth a try and these carrots grew great. They were big, round, and straight. I would recommend this product to anyone trying to grow carrots in clay, rocky soil."
