Wonderful Taste, July 28, 2009
Submitted by ecotomatoguy from columbus,ohio
"In testing 17 varieties this year, Marglobe has
the best heirloom taste amongst my friends and
myself. I was somewhat surprised as this was not
on best taste list by other groups. These are good
sized 12-18 oz., leaning to the pinkish side.
Sliced well, balanced sweet/acid level. Bush type
plants, determinant and early in the ripening dates.
The round cage seemed to work well as the fruit
is all on the lower 2 FT. of the plant."

Bacterial Spot, October 4, 2008
Submitted by JessamineW from Kentucky
"We planted several different varieties this year including determinate, indeterminate, heirloom, and hybrid and for some reason the Marglobes were the only ones that had an issue with bacterial spot. It was bad enough that we ended up disposing of at least half of the tomatoes from the Marglobes."
