"I have grown this corn under nearly ideal conditions in NC and I must say that it is one of the healthiest, most vigorous varieties I have ever grown. It has tall 9 foot stalks with at least two and often three large well filled out ears. My only complaint is that it is not as sweet as the SE and Sh2 varieties, and therefore not as tasty. However, taste is in the mouth of the beholder, and if you like that "real corn taste" then this is the one for you. This variety is the closest to "field corn" in both vigor and taste, in my opinion, and it certainly produces bumper crops."
