Excellent melon, October 9, 2009
Submitted by hegemon from Colorado
"I had no problems growing this melon. Every seed I planted germinated. The description is correct in that the later you let this melon sit on the vine, the softer and sweeter it gets. I experimented with when I picked and the longer you can let it ripen the sweeter it gets.

This is a very tasty melon. I'll definitely grow it again next year."

Very Poor germination, May 28, 2009
Submitted by shady from Omaha, NE
"I have always been happy with everything I have ordered from Burpees. But, this melon is just not very good at germination. Not sure yet on the fruit itself. First i started a few outside after 18 days of nothing. i put the rest of the pack in a wet napkin then in a ziplock. only 3 of them even started that way. good luck."
